100+-Jährige im Nordosten Deutschlands: Demografie und Pflege
Abstract
Das Gesundheitswissenschaftliche Institut Nordost (GeWINO) der AOK Nordost – Die Gesundheitskasse – hat in den Jahren 2014 und 2015 sich in zwei Regionalreports „Leben über 100“ der Mengenentwicklung sowie der Pflege und Pflegebedürftigkeit von Menschen, die 100 und mehr Lebensjahre zählen - in den Bundesländern Berlin, Brandenburg sowie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern gewidmet und stellt die wichtigsten Ergebnisse in diesem Beitrag zusammenfassend dar. In der Zusammenarbeit mit der renommierten Altersforscherin Prof. Dr. Adelheid Kuhlmey, Direktorin des Instituts für Medizinische Soziologie und Rehabilitationswissenschaft an der Charité, Berlin, erforscht das GeWINO seit 2014 die Versorgung von hochaltrigen Menschen.
100+-year-old people in the northeast region of germany: Demography and nursing care
In this article the Health Research Institute (GeWINO) – AOK Nordost - Die Gesundheitskasse – summarizes two reports „Centenarians demografic aspects and the need of care of indivduals who are 100 years and older in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern”. In cooperation with the renowned Gerontologist Prof. Dr. Adelheid Kuhlmey, Director of the Institute of Medical Sociology and rehabilitation Sciences, Charité, Berlin/Germany, the GeWINO explores since 2014 the need of care and health care services of very old people (age 100 years and older).
